Urban Exploring: St Peters Twins [The Round Entrance]

The St Peters Twins tunnel is a twin tunnel system that runs parallel with each other and exits at the same location. Both entrances run for ~1.3kms. The right circular side only stays cylindrical for a while then turns box-shaped till the end.

You can then go down the other side into the Square Enterance.

The cops are hot on graffiti in the area so be careful. We were questioned by 2 officers before discretely disappearing down the hole for another awesome tunneling adventure…

Urban Exploring: Cheltenham Racecourse

On Saturday 21 February 2009 the last race meeting was held at the Cheltenham Racecourse before its official closure. The racecourse was the site of Australia’s first forays into aviation, a training camp and convalescent hospital for returned soldiers, as well as many important horse-racing milestones; first broadcast race call, first photo-finish, and the champion Tulloch’s 1961 race at Cheltenham made him the first horse in the Commonwealth to take his earnings past 100,000 pounds.

As developers, state and local government squabble over its heritage significance, the site lays disused and in ruin, waiting for its fate to be decided.

Urban Exploring: Gates of Doom

After being asked by members of the Cave Clan and UEGA to not post this article we’ve reached a compromise allowing me to at least share some information with you.

Don’t be fooled, this tunnel is as dangerous as they come. Those who recognise it will immediately know of its unique characteristics. The ‘Gates of Doom‘ has a rich history for those who seek it, but for now its location must remain secret.
