Hagrid’s Hut was built in the 19th century. Of stone construction it contains multiple internal levels — including one below ground.
Having sat disused for nearly half a century most people have forgotten Hagrid’s. Rodent feces litters the floor. Cobwebs entwine the wooden support beams. Machinery left as-is; serving as a reminder of what once was…

Urban Exploring: The Clock to Adelaide’s First Post Office
It was May 1839 and it marked the first occasion on which mail was delivered to Adelaide’s city residents.
Letter Carriers burst onto the streets clad in scarlet coats, piped with blue and crowned with splendid gild hats adorned with a circle of gold.
The Post Office Act had passed in parliament and Adelaide’s postal system was born.

Urban Exploring: Inside Darling House
Nominated by the public as one of their favourite buildings in Adelaide in 2013, Darling House is not only historically and architecturally significant but has been the source of much intrigue since being left idle in 1997.
For the last 18 years Darling House has sat disused and un-maintained. Rising damp, water damage and wood rot have taken its toll on this once bustling establishment.
However, plans are afoot to restore the old building. Scheduled to be completed by the end of this year we eagerly await to see her rescued from its current dilapidated condition.
